Deep Etch

For my deep etch i decided to do a watch

This was the photo of the watch to be deep etched. To photograph this I used a large soft box from above slightly to the 12 o'clock I also used a black piece of card to flag the light so there would be no reflections on the watch face.

 

Up next was the model.

For this i had a medium sized soft box to the right of camera and a light on the background.

After all this I put the photos together in photoshop, i had slight problems with the bands being slightly out of focus due to having a slightly to shallow depth of field.
